Topping the list of over 150 speakers, seminar leaders and panelists set to appear at the Fifth Annual PowerNetworking Conference in Atlanta this summer, Black America’s largest networking event, are such notable names as Dr. Michael Eric Dyson.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson has appeared on popular talk shows, taught academic courses on gangsta rap and hip-hop music, and even testified before congressional subcommittees on various issues of concern to black Americans.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson has written many books that are looked upon in hip-hop culture as ‘classics’. In 2001 Dyson published a book on the life of hip-hop icon, the late rap artist Tupac Shakur (2Pac) titled, ‘Hollar if You Hear Me: Searching for Tupac Shakur’ which is a mainstay in hip-hop reading topics.

Dr. Cornel West is a Princeton professor, theologian, activist and prolific author.
