On Saturday August 16th The Hip Hop leaders a 501C3 organization will bring at risk youth, celebrities, politicians, and community members together to commune in the name of Peace. Covering some of the main issues our youth face today dealing with black and brown violence, and honoring the memory of Hip Hop Leaders alumni Dovon "Poo Poo" Harris. Media sponsors KDAY Radio, MySpace, and Fusicology.com are joining forces with The Hip Hop Leaders conference to publicize one of the greatest educational gatherings of the year. Community members such as Congress Member Maxine Waters, Congress member Laura Richardson, Council Member Elect Isadore Hall, and State Assembly member Karen Bass will also be in attendance to support this highly anticipated event. The Hip Hop leaders that have signed on to participate in this years events are: Akil (Jurassic 5), Arabian Prince (NWA), J Rock (World Famous Beat Junkies), DJ Mark Luv (Zulu Nation), Scoop DeVille, Spinderella (Salt N Peppa), Rosco, Ryan Ford (Source Magazine), Tierra Mari, and Warren G.
