With the support shown to the ‘Hands Off Assata’ campaign being so visible and being supported by many in hip-hop culture and by highly visible hip-hop and rap personalities, along with politicians and grass roots activists; we are all well aware of the struggle of Assata Shakur.

The struggle of late hip-hop rap icon Tupac Shakur’s godmother, Assata Shakur (Joanne Chesimard), is still alive and well. Grass roots movements and activists all over the country are letting their voices be heard. Now you can wear your support for Assata with Hands Off Assata tee shirts and other products.

These products support the Assata Shakur Speaks! and Hands Off Assata websites. Proceeds are used to offset hosting costs and support political education, outreach and enrichment programs.
