Hip hop historian and well known notable Davey D and Breakdown FM sits down with LA hip hop artist / rapper Omar Cruz to talk about the plight of Latino MCs and which direction he hopes to take things.

Omar Cruz (formerly known as hip hop artist Blunts LLA) is a West Coast hip hop rapper. Born in Los Angeles to a Colombian father and a Mexican mother, Omar initially used the nickname Blunts and added LLA to stand for "Latin Lyrical Assassin."

Davey D talked at length about the history of LA Hip Hop and the often overlooked involvement and contributions of Latinos to hip hop culture. They also talked about Cruz’s lengthy involvement in the hip hop and rap game.

They also got down on the political tip and spoke about Black-Brown relationships in LA and how it will impact the presidential campaign.
