Not many times have hip hop’s insiders been willing to ‘come out’ and give us straight talk – real talk about what really goes on behind the scenes and how not only the hip hop world of music but the music industry really works.

ThugLifeArmy.com is proud to announce the addition on legendary hip hop artist and music producer Binky Mack to our staff of contributing writers.

Binky will supply an exclusive article each week called ‘Binky’s Neighborhood’, in which he will give insight not only to the world of hip hop but he will cover many topics that are important to the entire community in these crazy times.

Here is Binky’s introduction for his article. His contact info is below. Get at him and let him know how you feel about his views and suggest topics that you want to know the ‘real talk’ on.

It has been my honor to get to know Binky over the years and he is not only a great producer and hip hop / rap artist, he is an amazing individual and one that I am blessed to be able to call my friend.

We at ThugLifeArmy.com are very proud and excited to have him join our staff of contributing journalist. We hope you can learn a lot from his input and message.

In Binky's Neighborhood: 1045 pm 10/7/08 Tuesday night (after the 2nd debate)

Whats good fam ? Just wanna give a shout out to Rob for letting me be a part of the Thug Life Army familia as a weekly writer. Even though they have the hip hop covered, I will talk about some of everything. Entertainment, sports, politics, gospel topics, charities, etc.

I will also speak from a human stand point. Meaning that some times when you read an interview or a subject matter in a magazine, the reader seems like the outsider. The artist or actor is way to the left and the reader is way to the right. I want to close the gap and bring it back to the basics. I remember reading one time when the interviewer asked a singer what color tooth brush did he use. And even though I may not go to that extreme, it will get personal. In a economy like this, a lot of us are pretty much on the same playing field so if someone gives me a hard time, I will bring it back to YOU!

I''m Binky Mack formerly of the rap group allfrumtha i which our camp was the Westside Connection. I produced for legendary hip hop and rap artist such as Ice Cube, Mack 10, W.C., Scareface, Redman, Snoop Dogg, Krazie Bone, C Murder, Ras Kass, Boo Heff, Road Dawgs, Comrads, CJ Mac, Short Khop, Celly Cell and of course my group allfrumtha i.

I''m still doing production for shows like Making The Band 4, Law and Order, Sleeper Cell and The Protector along with a few commercials and video games. I have been gased about going into writing and just doing things my way. We will do this on a weekly basis and then go from there. We will have a crazy time with morals if that's good with you, the reader.

This is just an introduction. We will kick things off in a few days.

Writing from The Valley outside of Los Angeles.

Signing off....
