JJ Fad (Just Jammin'' Fresh and Def) was a Los Angeles, California based trio of female hip hop rappers: MC J.B. (Juana Burns), Baby-D (Dania Birks) and Sassy C. (Michelle Franklin). They were signed to hip hop icon and entrepreneur Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records, and produced by hip hop iconic group NWA's Dr. Dre and Yella.

JJ Fad is best remembered for their 1988 debut Supersonic which spawned the chart hit to the Billboard Hot 100: peaked at #31. Also Supersonic was the first Grammy nominated record by a female hip-hop group. Follow up singles were "Way Out" and "Is It Love". The album and title single were both certified platinum discs by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Their second LP, Not Just a Fad, was released in 1991. Singles released were "We in the House" and "Gold". JJ Fad disbanded the following year.

"Supersonic", their hit of 1988, and their song "Eenie Meenie Beats" was re-worked by hip hop lovely Fergie into her single "Fergalicious" (along with sampling from Afro-Rican's "Give it All You Got.")

In 2008, their song "Supersonic" was ranked number 72 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop. They were also listed on VH1's One-Hit Wonders of Rap.

JJ Fad has signed with Uncle Louie Music Group. Plans are in the works for a new album and re-release of the classic "Supersonic" as well as a 20 Year Anniversary Tour with the Fat Boys.
