Phoenix-based Amber/Colossus Books will release some of hip hop's hottest new biography titles this coming June. Included in the releases are ''50 Cent: No Holds Barred'', ''Jay Z and the Roc-A-Fella Dynasty'' and ''Tupac in the Studio'', all written by Jake Brown. The biographies on 50 Cent and Jay Z are the first to be released on both rap/hip hop artists, and include never-before-released photos, legal documents, arrest records, and interviews. ''2Pac in the Studio'' focuses exclusively on the studio craft of the late rap legend, featuring exclusive interviews with many of his producers, including a lengthy, multi-chapter interview with Tupac Shakur closest musical collaborator, Johnny J, among others. The book offers fans a never-before-revealed insight into 2Pac's recording method, along with the interworkings of his songwriting process, etc. Jake Brown has previously authored books on Death Row Records'' Marion ‘Suge’ Knight, late rap icon Biggie Smalls, and R&B star R. Kelly for Amber Books. For more information on all these upcoming releases visit www.amberbooks.com. |
