Jay-Z isn’t the only rapper making headlines lately for allegedly not paying his bills; Bow Wow has been ordered by a judge in Georgia to be arrested and held in custody until he produces documents for the tour bus company that is suing him.

Back in 2009, a Tennessee court ordered Bow to pay almost $100,000 to a tour bus company that alleged he didn’t pay his bill. When that order wasn’t met, the company took the case to Georgia to try and get the matter settled where Bow Wow lives. He was ordered to produced documents regarding the lawsuit, which he didn’t do.
As a result, the tour company filed a motion to have the rapper held in contempt, and that’s exactly what’s happening now. In October, the judge asked Bow-Weezy to be arrested and held until he produces the necessary documents the tour bus company asked for.
XXLmag.com reached out to Bow Wow’s publicist for a statement, but emails have not been replied to as of press time. —Gina Montana AT XXIMAG

This morning, a cease and desist letter was sent to Madonna, her management, NBC Sports and the NFL from Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis' attorney. In the letter, attorney David Houston asserts that Madonna is infringing on his client's long-time trademark, Girls Gone Wild, without his permission. While shopping on Apple iTunes this morning, Francis discovered that "Girls Gone Wild" is the title of the first song on Madonna's new album, "M.D.N.A." Francis was quoted as saying, "I was blown away when I saw our name being used without our consent. I had to do a double take when I saw that it was the number one song on the album."
It was rumored in a number of published news articles today that as part of Madonna's Super Bowl halftime show, she would be performing her song, "Girls Gone Wild." "Not so fast," says Francis. The cease and desist letter also stated, "Madonna shall not perform or market the song at the Super Bowl this Sunday without a proper licensing agreement from Girls Gone Wild." Francis ended with, "Don't get me wrong, I'm a Madonna fan, but business is business. Maybe the Material Girl and I can work this out over drinks."
According to Madonna’s publicist “The song will not be performed at Super Bowl halftime show, it was never a possibility. She has confirmed she will be performing her new single and three of her gems from the past."
Her new single is "Give Me All Your Luvin'," which was released yesterday on Itunes. |
