Recently CRNLive.com’s Frank Miranda had the opportunity to interview the hip-hop activist rap artist Immortal Technique for the “Chicano Pick Series” which will air during the month on CRNLive.com’s Studio B. Immortal Technique is one of the most powerful independent hip-hop artists out today. The truth in his lyrical flow makes him a unique and influential figure in hip-hop. Immortal Technique was born in a military hospital in South America, hip-hop rap artist and activist Immortal Technique came to the United States in the early 80's to escape the civil war that was breaking out in his native Peru. He now resides in Harlem which had its own share of drama. Growing up on the streets of New York, Immortal Technique became enamored with Hip Hop culture, writing graffiti and starting to rhyme at an early age.
