After nearly 15 years of serving as Creative Consultant to over 25 radio stations nationwide, including Clear Channel's powerhouse rap station, Power 99fm, MC Spice has turned off the radio microphones to focus on the recording industry microphones. The hip hop veteran rap artist, songwriter & producer has crafted a surefire hit with the single, "My Mond Is A Battlefield," a song depicting the rapper's life with Bipolar. "Rappers are always talkin'' about what's real, and this is very real to me. Bipolar disorder has exploited me all my life. I''m exploiting bipolar now. Plus I''m helping others become aware through the music and grassroots campaigning," says the Boston native. The rapper's song caught the attention of Marcie Lipsitt & Kate Pravera of CABF.ORG (Child & Adolescent Bipolar Foundation) and the three have been in talks about furthering the cause through non-traditional promotional methods to include music and urban grassroots promotions. Already, 15 radio stations have expressed interest in the CD single due at stations everywhere February 24, 2005. M.C. Spice's music can be heard at: http://mcspice.dmusic.com . |
