On June 24th the late great rap artist Big Pun's Terror Squad T.S. Tombstone Medallion was put up for auction on eBay. The winner was then going to be flown to New York to receive the medallion from Pun's wife Liza Rios.

The medallion was up for auction so Liza, who had been struggling since Pun's passing in 2000, could make ends meet to provide for herself and her three children.

What some people don''t realize is that Pun's wife and kids did not become millionaires when he passed. His family does not receive royalties for his first two rap albums and only one small check has been paid to them for Pun's final album. The battle continues and the Rios family continues to fight for the money that is due to Pun's kids for his album sales.

As anyone can see the auction ended July 4th and the reserve price was never met. We would have to assume that the medallion was not sold and it is still where it belongs with Pun's family.

Pun's wife has recently opened a new website where they will be selling the Official Big Pun T-shirt line. Go check the site out www.Bigpunshop.com  . On some other news we received from Liza, Pun's son known as Baby Pun has been working on a rap career of his own. Reports three years ago rumored Pun's son to be part of a group called 3-Down. Although there is still video of the group floating around there is no truth to the rumor. The deal never went through and three years later it is old news.

There is work being done now on Baby Pun's solo project and they will soon be shopping him a deal. Word is that he will be hitting the mix-tape circuit real soon. We will have more info on Baby Pun as it is made available to us.
