Funk legend and friend of hip-hop George Clinton is launching his new independent record label The C Kunspyruhzy (pronounced "The C Conspiracy"), and the signing of a national distribution deal with Big Daddy Music Distribution for his forthcoming album "How Late Do You Have 2 B B 4 U R Absent?" slated for worldwide release on September 6, 2005. Big Daddy is a winner of the National Academy of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) Small Distributor of the Year award, having been nominated six times for the honor. The company handles distribution for a wide variety of pop, rap, hip-hop, R&B and jazz artists, including pop-icon Prince's NPG Music Club.
