You can catch music from hip-hop rap artists T-K.A.S.H. and Paris on the forthcoming album ‘Redemption: Hip-Hop United To Save Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams’. This project is an informative instrument designed to bring attention to the struggle to save Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams life. For those of you who don’t know, Stan co-founded the Crips youth gang as a teenager, but has found redemption over the past 23 years while incarcerated on San Quentin’s death row. He has been marked to be executed by the State of California December 13, 2005. We can not, as the hip-hop community, let this happen. Various other hip-hop / rap artists and celebrities have pledged solidarity and their respective talents to this effort, including rap artist Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, Danny Glover, Shorty of the Da Lench Mob, Kam, legendary rap artist WC (Westside Connection), Tank, rappers The Booyaa Tribe, The Front Line, Kid Frost, RBX, JT The Bigga Figga, dead prez, San Quinn, The Soul Snatcherz and Planet Asia among others.
