Ja Rule The federal probe of Murder Inc. is not stopping hip-hop rap artist and actor Ja Rule from taking care of his business. The Queens don has launched a film production company, Focus Vision, and promised that his first project would catapult him into film stardom. “I got a project [I’m] working on, the Eric Price story, called “Flight Of The Hawk,” he told us. “It’s a movie that I acquired the rights to through my company. We have three studios that want to do the story so we are checking it out and seeing how we want to put it down. But that will be my break-out project. I’m doing film projects, but that movie will show people that Ja Rule, a.k.a. Jeff Atkins, can act. And I will be a very powerful figure behind the screen.” In addition, Ja Rule is going to be acting in “Whore Son,” a film adaptation of street novelist Donald Goines’ book. In related news, Ja Rule recently shot a clip for “Caught Up,” the third single from his gold-selling album, R.U.L.E. |
