The hip-hop and rap label D-Block was created by hip-hop and rap artist Sheek Louch with lifelong friends, fellow hip-hop artists and rappers Styles P and Jadakiss. J-Hood is the newest member to enter this hip-hop fold. The first release on D-Block was Sheek Louch's 2003 debut album, "Walk Witt Me," which sold over 250,000 units. D-Block Records / KOCH Records has announced the release of the "D-Block CD/DVD Mixtape," a new CD/DVD by one of New York's most respected hip-hop cliques, D-Block. A video for "Devine"/"Everything Ya Got" will be serviced shortly to all key National and local video networks. The video was directed by Dale Restighini (Juelz Santana, Cam''ron, DJ KaySlay). Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss are members of the hip-hop click The Lox, the Yonkers-based hip-hop group who were a backbone of Sean "Puffy" Combs'' Bad Boy label. Hired as writers, the trio wrote and performed on Comb's "It's All About the Benjamins," Mase's "24 Hrs. to Live," the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Last Day," Mary J. Blige's "Can''t Get You Off My Mind," and many hip-hop, rap and R&B others. The Lox released their debut album, "Money, Power & Respect" in 1998 -- it reached #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts. To date, The Lox has sold 1.7 million albums. Sheek Louch released his debut album under the new partnership between D-Block Records and KOCH Records in 2005, titled "After Taxes," which debuted at #22 on the Billboard Top 200. The DVD portion of the package contains over 120 minutes of video footage, including a documentary, exclusive music videos, behind-the-scenes footage and much more. The audio CD tracklisting is: 1.
