Suge Knight Sues Ice Cube and Dr. Dre for Defamation |

The rift between Suge Knight and former N.W.A members continues to this day. Former CEO of Death Row records, Suge Knight has filed a $200 million defamation lawsuit against Dr. Dre and Ice Cube over the portrayal of his persona in hip hop blockbuster “Straight Outta Compton.” According to a reports from TheNewsNerd.com, the 50-year-old mogul says Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who serve as executive producers, defamed his character by making him appear “soft” in the film. In a statement released by his lawyer Knight stated:
The Los Angeles County Jail where Knight is being held on murder charges in under investigation for allowing Knight to watch the film. Suge was arrested for an incident in which he ran over and killed rap producer Terry Carter on the set of the movie “Straight Outta Compton” in January. Knight claims self defense and said his life was in danger. Ice Cube nor Dr. Dre have yet to respond to the lawsuit. |
