New York City based DJ and winner of two Justos Mixtape Awards, DJ Sure Shot recently launched the free mixtape downloads site Dopebox.net. The site features free mixtapes from DJs in a range of genres including: hip hop, R&B, reggae, afrobeat, indie rock, house and jazz, among others. According to Shot, new mixtapes are added to the site weekly.

"We've put together hundreds of free mixtape downloads from DJ's around the world. Everything from 80's R&B and 90's house, to the most recent hip hop mixtapes from hip hop rap artists like Rick Ross, TI, Lil' Wayne and Wiz Khalifa," said Shot. "If there's a mixtape download available out there, we've probably got it on the site. We've got throwbacks in our archives that nobody else has."

Visitors to the Dopebox.net website have the option to listen to free mixtapes, rate them, leave comments or download mixtapes for free, once registered. There's no cost to register on the site, which takes less than a minute. The site also features a growing selection of mixtape podcasts, and a look at the mixtape and DJ industry through their Dope Box Blog.

"This site is for mixtape lovers and music professionals who want everything mixtape related," explained Shot. "Unlike other sites we're enthusiasts, so we put together a site that would appeal to seasoned mixtape collectors as well as beginners."
