Acclaimed hip hop artist Keith Murray is set to release his highly-anticipated new album on KOCH Records. Following his successful career as both a solo artist and a member of famed hip hop group Def Squad, Murray returns to put New York back on the map with Rap-Murr-Phobia (Fear of Real Hip Hop). The album will be released on July 31st, 2007. Rapp-Murr-Phobia (Fear of Real Hip Hop) features multi-platinum R&B recording artist Tyrese, Method Man and Murray’s Def Squad bandmates, Redman and Erick Sermon. Sermon also executive produced the album. The first single off of the album, the summer anthem “Nobody Do It Better,” featuring Tyrese and Junior, is already impacting major radio markets and will go for adds shortly. The video for the single will be shot in Los Angeles in early June. In 1995, Murray’s debut album, The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World took the hip hop world by storm when it went gold and spawned the hit title track which became an all-time hip hop anthem. Murray released three more solo records: Enigma, featuring the hit track “The Rhyme,” It’s a Beautiful Thing and He’s Keith Murray. Murray is also a member of legendary hip hop super group Def Squad. Along with members Redman and Erick Sermon, the group released the album El Nino, which went Gold and included the hit singles, “Full Cooperation,” and “Rappers Delight.” Look for Keith Murray to tour in all major markets this summer!
