Legendary Hip Hop / R&B crooner Nate Dogg is paralyzed after suffering a stroke over the holidays. The stroke was mild and the hip hop notable is paralyzed on the left side of his body. At first, word had spread that the former Death Row Records hip hop mainstay had a heart attack. The ‘mild’ stroke has affected his sense of touch and his ability to walk, but there was no brain damage and his voice and spirit are in tack. He is now in a rehab clinic receiving care to help him walk again. The prediction for his future health seems to be a full recovery. Nate Dogg, whose real name is Nathaniel Dawayne Hale, rose to hip hop and rap acclaim during the high riding days of Death Row Records. He worked along side Tupac (2Pac), Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt and many other Death Row Records recording artists and with almost every notable hip hop and rap artist in the game. His presents on a track can carry even the worse track. It is said that ‘it isn’t a hit unless Nate Dogg is on it’, and that seems to be holding true. Hopefully Nate Dogg will return to the studio soon and continue to bless all of us with that excellent voice and work ethic that he is known in the hip hop community for. All the best to Nate Dogg for a speedy recovery. |
