Missy Elliot There are many reality shows but add another to the list. Female hip-hop rapper Missy Elliot will throw her hat into the already crowded ring of reality shows with one of her own. “The Road to Stardom With Missy Elliot” is getting set to hit a television set near you. The show will feature 13 aspiring performers competing for $100,000 and the opportunity to become music’s next big thing. The contestants will hit the road with Missy on a coast-to-coast tour and will live on a bus together for the duration of the show. Each week contestants will be challenged in a variety of ways and be exposed to some of music’s top industry insiders. Not only will they have to deal with the 24hr surveillance, but they will have to deal with the ups and downs of life on the road. The contestants will be gauged and eliminated one by one each week by a panel of judges including Teena Marie, Dallas Austin and Mona Scott until one is left standing. The winner will receive $100,000 and sign to Missy’s label as well as have her release the winner’s first single. |
