Fresh Fest 2005, presented by Blackberry Entertainment Inc., will be the biggest old school Hip Hop concert ever.

This historic show will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom (11 West 34th Street, New York City) on Friday, August 12 2005.

Performing live at Fresh Fest 2005 will be an array of hip-hop and rap entertainers such as Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Chubb Rock, Dana Dane, Doug E Fresh, Nice and Smooth, Slick Rick, Sugar Hill Gang and Whodini.

This extravaganza with music from the founders and creators of Hip Hop/Rap music will be hosted by Power 105.1’s own Ed Lover and Monie Love.

Shanna Byas, President of Blackberry Entertainment says “bringing back the originators of Old School is an exciting undertaking for my company. To be able to see and hear these legends perform will make this event a unique happening in New York City”. Additionally Fresh Fest 2005 will feature the renowned and highly emulated DJ’s such as The World Famous Brucie B, The Legendary DJ Scratch, S&S and opening up the show will be DJ Cynnamaxx.

Until Fresh Fest 2005, there has never been a concert which acknowledges the contribution of these legendary artists to the Hip Hop community. This type of concert will not only attract an audience that is acutely aware of their significance but will also attract a cross section audience of gender, age and race who will get an opportunity to witness these performers live. This genre of concert will also bring forth those celebrities that respect and appreciate Hip Hop.

So join with Southern State Mortgage, Branch #140 and the Law Office of JAD, for a fun filled evening of pure unadulterated entertainment that we have not witnessed in a long time. Meet up with us on August 12, 2005 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, 11 West 34th Street, New York City for Fresh Fest 2005.
