Here is your opportunity to intern with the self-proclaimed bible of Hip-Hop Music, Culture & Politics - Hip Hop cultures The Source Magazine. The self-proclaimed bible of hip hop is looking for hungry individuals who live, breathe and eat the culture of Hip-Hop and is just as energetic to want to learn from others who feel the same way. No experience is necessary but your desire to get things done, work well with others and being a team player is essential. Basic office skills are needed (typing, organizational skills, etc.) and online experience is a plus for the online department as with the internet, it is a constant movement that needs to be updated often to keep the Hip-Hop community up to date with any content. As this is a new department and a re-launch is scheduled for TheSource.com, duties may change daily, but it won’t be overwhelming for someone who has the capacity to want to be involved in something that will be exciting. We also need writers to contribute to the website and keep in mind that you will be able to attend industry functions and you get to network and meet various executives and artists. Throw in some free music, access to promotional items and you are already ahead of the game! No pay, but the experience and knowledge gained is invaluable and being at the right place at the right time is always beneficial.
