Hip-hop mogul and rap artist Master P, (whose real name is Percy Miller) and his brother, rapper Silkk the Shocker, (whose real name is Vyshonn Miller) pleaded no contest on Monday to weapons charges. Both received fines. Master P was ordered to fulfill 40 hours of community service and his brother Vyshonn received the same but also received 3 years probation. It has been a bad time for the Miller family. Their fellow sibling and rap artist formerly known as C-Murder, (whose real name is Corey Miller) has posted $500,000 bond while he awaits a second trial on murder and attempted murder charges. While Master P and his brother Silkk the Shocker have cleared up their misunderstandings with the law and have had their day in court, Corey Miller still has to face his days in court in which he could be returned to prison for life. He has already been convicted and has served 3 years in a Louisiana prison for his conviction of murder. That conviction was later overturned giving way for the hip-hop artist to receive a new trial. Corey also faces attempted murder charges and has a trial date there also. |
