“Everybody Hates Chris” featured “Rappin Granny on the 2nd episode & she screens in New York City with “Ya Grandma’s A Gangsta” parody film this month.

Hip Hop Superstar Rappin Granny got busy recently on Chris Rock’s new TV show “Everybody Hates Chris”. If you missed the show you will be able to catch the 68-year-old as her mega award wining parody “Ya Grandma’s A Gangsta” screens in New York at The Urban Funk Film Series.

The screening will take place on Tuesday October 18th at 6pm at the Globe Institute of Technology. Hip Hop film writer, producer and director Tim Greene of Tim Greene Films.com and The Ultimate Hip Hop Motion Picture Consortium produced co-wrote the parody. Tim Greene has booked The Rappin Granny on such shows as Inside Edition, Regis, NBC Today Show, CNN News, America’s Talking, The Jerry Springer Show, The Montel Williams Show, Bad Ass TV (London) and TV 9 (Australia). Tim has also created Granny’s own line of Hip Hop Soda Pop with flavors like “Slammin Strawberry” and “Get Ya Groove On Grape” and Granny O’s breakfast cereal. You will also be able to meet Tim Greene at Rappin Granny’s parody screening. Tim will give out free DVD’s to the first 25 people of his first two feature films and a promo of his new G-Rated kid’s Hip Hop Movie due out in 2006.

If you miss Tim Greene in New York he will be back in Hollywood the Third week of this month for various speaking engagements as well as pre-production on a new documentary film on The Masi Tribe Of Africa. "I usually do comedy films, but when this project came my way I could not pass it up, and all of the proceeds from the film will go back to The Masi Tribe to help them build a water well for their village and to buy new books to educate their kid's" say's Greene.

Tim Greene will also speak at The Los Angeles Convention Center on October 28th on Breaking Into The Film Business.
