Is Sean Paul Latin hip-hop, rap, reggatone dance hall or Reggae? No matter how you answer one thing is certain Sean Paul is talented and has a huge fan base. After an incredible year that saw Sean Paul shatter the record for most reggae sales in a single week and had the whole country jamming to "We Be Burnin" and now "Temperature," Sean Paul announces the U.S. leg of his "The Trinity" World Tour. On the tour he will perform current hits from his album "The Trinity" (VP/Atlantic). In addition to "Temperature" (currently #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the second most downloaded song of the week) and "We Be Burnin" (a Top Ten hit), Sean Paul will perform all his megahits from "Dutty Rock" (including "Gimme The Light," "Get Busy," "Like Glue," and "I''m Still In Love") and Stage One ("Hot Girl Today" and "Deport Dem"). Sean Paul will team with "Teens who support other Teens in Need" from the Boys & Girls Club for this tour. The program highlights a "Youth of the Year" in each market, as an honor student making a difference in supporting other teens in the community in educational areas such as counseling, drug prevention, HIV/AIDS education, and gang related prevention. Each teen selected will receive two tickets to Sean Paul's concert and the chance to win a trip to New York to be honored on BET's 106 & Park. "The Trinity" has sold more than 500,000 copies since its release in the U.S. It sold a record-breaking 107,000 copies in its first week of release. Truly an international superstar, the album has sold over a million copies worldwide and continues to build on the success of singles "We Be Burnin," "Temperature," and "Ever Blazin." "The Trinity" is the follow-up to Sean's smash hit "Dutty Rock," which sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. In the wake of the breakthrough success of "Dutty Rock," Sean racked up numerous prestigious awards, including the Grammy for Best Reggae Album -- redefining the category in the process. He won MTV Europe's Best New Artist Award as well as Source, MOBO, Juno, Much Music, and International Reggae and World Music awards. Below are the tour dates for Sean Paul's upcoming U.S. tour.
