Hip-hop and rap performer and producer Kanye West, along with fellow artists Tonex, Lil'' Irocc Williams and The Prophet X, host of the webcast “Spirit & Truth Radio Show”, have been nominated for Gospel Rap Artist of The Year by the Hollywood Gospel Insider Music Awards.

The Prophet X has twice been nominated by the Southern California Gospel Announcers Guild, and last year was a Best Holy Hip Hop Performer nominee at the Los Angeles Black Music Awards. All of these kudos stem from his debut Prophecy/God Style Records “Blood Of The Prophets” CD.

Producer Danny Sheridan, who oversees Nina Blackwood's two United Stations shows, “Absolutely80s” and “New Wave Nation”; her Sirius Satellite Big80s; and KRLA's recovery and self-help talker “The Bradley Quick Experience”, is piloting “Spirit & Truth” for national syndication.

The 4th Annual Hollywood Gospel Insider Awards happen on the weekend of May 7 & 8 at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City, CA.
