May 19th at 9 pm (ET/PT) VH1 will preview their documentary "Last Days of Left Eye."

Lisa Nicole Lopes aka Lisa ‘Left Eye’, of the best-selling female R&B group of all time and hip hop group TLC, and who also was a solo hip hop and rap performer; was killed three years ago in a tragic car accident in Honduras. The famous hip hop and R&B artist was 30 years old.

This documentary is filled with exclusive and never before seen footage of the charismatic and complex Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes and captures the final month in the life of one of hip hop cultures most loved and missed performers.

Produced and directed by Academy Award nominee Lauren Lazin, who is famous in hip hop culture for her writing and directing for the film on hip hop icon Tupac (2Pac); Tupac Resurrection in 2003, and for her work at MTV.

Lisa ‘Left Eye’ documented her final days in journals and private home movies shot at her spiritual retreat deep in the jungle of Honduras.  During this last month of her life Lisa reflected on her triumphs and mistakes with an eye towards the spiritual transformation she so desperately sought. What emerges is an intimate and surprising journey into the soul of a beautiful, talented and still-provocative hip hop and R&B figure.

VH1 will preview their documentary "Last Days of Left Eye", May 19th at 9 pm (ET/PT). This will definitely be a show no one will want to miss.
