Being raised in Watts and being influenced by his mothers taste in music, which included the likes of such greats as Al Green, Denise Williams, The BT Express, Fleetwood Mac, GQ, and many others; hip-hop DJ Skratch knows music and knows what the streets want. His first compilation CD ‘Made From Skratch’ reflects that wide range of influences from many genres and blends all these genres into hip-hop and rap style tracks; and it works well and the streets are noticing.

This is DJ Skratch's first compilation CD. The album is release on the label Futuristic Fonk Records. Featured hip-hop, rap, R&B and reggae artist like: Sector, Space, Mistaken Identedy, Tripdavon, Big Arch, Big Mark, Kali Slim, Blackice, G-avanni, Tre'sjur, Caladon, Young Huss, Sara S, and Juneyski help to bring this DJ Skratch compilation one step above all the standard CD’s that you are use to hearing. This album has a hip-hop and rap feel but with the variety of the mixed music is a good blend for the beats and the album comes off well as a solid and noteworthy project by DJ Skratch.
