Hip-Hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s, Grammy award-winning rap artist Anthony Henderson, aka Krayzie Bone, has had a warrant issued for his arrest. The warrant was issued Wednesday for Krayzie Bone after he failed to show up in Butler County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court for a scheduled plea hearing. Failure to appear is a felony punishable by up to 18 months in prison. Hip-hop rapper Krayzie Bone, 31, who has a Los Angeles address, was indicted last August on two counts of felony nonsupport of dependents. The charges are fifth-degree felonies each punishable by up to 12 months in prison. The rap artist put $40,000 in an escrow account to be paid to the mother of his child, who currently lives in the Mason (Ohio) area. He contested paternity, but the money was released to the mother after paternity tests confirmed Krayzie was the father. Krayzie Bone was scheduled to appear in Butler County Common Pleas Court Wednesday for a plea hearing through which he would have received probation as long as he remained current in his support payments. However, Krayzie Bone failed to show up. Assistant Prosecutor Aaron Aldridge requested a warrant be issued for Krayzie Bone’s (Anthony Henderson) arrest. In 2002 the Butler County Child Support Enforcement Agency referred Krazie’s case to the prosecutor’s office. But before it was presented to a grand jury Krazie sent in a lump sum of $35,000, and the case was dropped. Between 2002 and 2004 the nonsupport arrearage began to grow again, prompting the August 2004 indictment. Krayzie’s son is now 6 years old. |
