A record release party for the new ‘Duets’ album from late NY hip-hop rap artist Notorious B.I.G. was marred by violence on Wednesday night.

The release party for the late rappers latest album ("The Notorious B.I.G.: The Final Chapter") was hosted in a Manhattan club. After receiving a 911 call from the club, police officers found three victims stabbed. Two men who were stabbed in the face and one who was stabbed in the stomach; all were transported to the hospital.

Just moments before the stabbings police officials said that patrol officers heard gunfire at a parking garage near the Manhattan club. Inside the garage police officers found three men with gunshot wounds; all three men were transported to the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.

It was unclear if the two incidents were related. Also unclear are reports that Notorious B.I.G.'s mother, Voletta Wallace and Sean Combs aka Puffy, aka Puff Daddy, aka Diddy; were in attendance at the party.

There were no arrests made. Police officials are investigating.

"The Notorious B.I.G.: The Final Chapter" features performances from many of the ‘elite’ in hip-hop and rap including Sean Combs , Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Nas, Bob Marley, Big Pun, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, Ludacris, R. Kelly and even Tupac Shakur (2Pac).
