The XXX sequel State Of The Union is just a few days old, but the star of the movie, hip-hop rap artist turned actor Ice Cube, is already thinking about the next installment.

The rapper-turned-actor said recently that he''d be more than willing to reprise his role as government agent Darius Stone in a follow-up movie. "Yeah, I''d come back definitely. But I also think it's a fresh look at a franchise you know when you say, ''We''re gonna have a new agent every time with his own skills,'' you know? They might use a woman next time. You know, that might be a fresh take. We really haven''t seen anything really hardcore since like Le Femme Nikita. So why not? But yeah if they call me back, you know I''ll definitely answer the call”. Cube said.

The people behind XXX: State Of The Union say that they want each XXX movie to star a different person in the lead role. That sentiment was not, however, their first choice, producers were forced to create a new lead character after original XXX star Vin Diesel turned down the opportunity to reprise his role.

XXX: State Of The Union stars Ice Cube as former Navy SEAL Darius Stone, a man serving 20 years in prison for disobeying a direct order from his superior while fighting in Kosovo. He's freed from captivity by an old comrade to help prevent the United States'' first-ever coup.
