J Wells, who is quickly on pace to establish a name for himself in Hip-Hop and R&B, releases ‘Digital Master’. He may be only twenty one years old, but he has already established himself as one of the most anticipated and talented producers to make it out of the West Coast.

By way of Chicago and Los Angeles, J. Wells became a protigi of J-Ro (of Tha Alkaholiks), quickly learning the value of crafting melodies and creating compelling songs. Encouraged early on by J-Ro, J. Wells was invited to join the legendary Likwit Crew which includes rap artists Tha Alkaholiks (E-Swift, J Ro and Tash), King Tee, LootPack, Phil Da Agony,  and Defari as well as the extended Likwit family of Xzibit, Dilated Peoples, Planet Asia, Madlib and Evidence amongst others. Additionally, J. Wells toured with Tha Alkaholiks on Snoop Dogg's "Puff Puff Pass Tour".

J. Wells produced one of the most sought after mixtapes in West Coast mixtape history with his debut J. Wells presents: ‘The Wolfpac Mixtape’ which garnered massive critical acclaim and sold more than almost any West Coast mixtapes ever. The CD features guests including hip-hop and rap artists Kurupt, Styliztik, James DeBarge, El DeBarge, Y.A., Roscoe, J Ro &, Tash of Tha Liks and Prodigal Sunn.

Recently Wells produced the Goodie Mob single "Play Yo Flutes" featuring Sleepy Brown, for Goodie Mob's album One Monkey Don''t Stop No Show.

There has been a surge in demand for J. Wells from having his songs featured in film and TV including hit taste -maker shows ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Six Feet Under’, and blockbuster film and soundtrack ‘Be Cool’, as well as video games including  ‘EA Sports 2004 Tiger Woods Golf’.

Currently J Wells can be found in the studio working with Knocturnal, recently signed to Suge Knight’s Death Row Records Petey Pablo, Prodigal Sunn, Strong Arm Steady, and Styliztik Jones to name a few.

Digital Master, which features Method Man, Jayo Felony, Kurupt, Tha Liks, Sleepy Brown, and Goodie Mob among other;. is available independently on Bonzi Records, and can be found online at waxploitation.com and other places.

Check J Wells out and see what all the buzz is about.
