After costing the city of Los Angeles over a $1 Million dollars in fines, because of possible police wrongdoings, the LAPD has decided to have another look at the murder of NY hip-hop legend – rap artist Notorious B.I.G.

According to Los Angeles Assistant City Attorney Don Vincent "They (the LAPD) are investigating it, following up on the leads."

Of course they will be looking for involvement by rap mogul and CEO of Death Row Records Marion ‘Suge’ Knight, who has been allegedly thought to be a conspirator in the murder of the Brooklyn based rap artist. It should be mentioned that Mr. Marion ‘Suge’ Knight has always maintained he had no involvement in the shooting.

B.I.G. was murdered in Los Angeles 6 months after hip-hop cultures rap icon Tupac Shakur (2Pac) was assassinated in Las Vegas. Many feel the murder of B.I.G. was in response to the killing of Tupac (2Pac).

A jailhouse informant has implicated L.A. Police officer David Mack in the murder of rapper Notorious B.I.G. (aka Christopher Wallace) but no real evidence has come to light, really just allegations.

In March of 2005, as far as the FBI was concerned, the investigation into the murder of Notorious B.I.G. was declared over and closed by the leading law enforcement agency in the country.
