The 4th Annual World of Rap Awards will be held on Feb. 15, 2007 at Caesars Palace in the Paris Ballroom in Las Vegas, Nevada. This black tie gala awards presentation will bring together some of the best talent hip hop culture has to offer It will serve as a benefit show for several non profit organizations. The program will feature an array of popular hip hop culture Rap personalities who hail from the music, film and television industries. These stars will participate as presenters, special performers, attendees, nominees and award winners. Recognizing how very influential rap music is to a massive portion of today’s youth as covered by the American Journal: we belive positive rap music can be used as a key to open the doors of communication and understanding between our youth and our leaders. Rap music set forth insistently in a new and enlightening direction and presented productively will play a major roll in enhancing rap music listeners’ lives, serve as a mental healing and physical appeal in community revitalization. Their endeavors are to encourage rap music artist, record labels and the entire entertainment industry to reflect on, writing and producing positive, productive messages in their music. Rap is a combination of poetry and music, the cultural expression of a new generation. From the urban underground of New York City to the Rue Des Champs Elysees, in Paris this progressive music has become a world phenomenon. Once considered a passing fad, rap music moves into it’s fourth decade. By continuing to expand beyond the shores of the United States, to countries world wide: Rap Music is World Music.
