Premiering on March 8^th at 8 P.M. on SHOWTIME - rock artists David Crosby, Peter Gabriel, and hip-hop and rap artists Gwen Stefani, will.i.am & 50 cent and other music artist will discuss the State of the Industry, Inspirations & Life Behind the Mic

Nearly 55 of the biggest names in music, including hip-hop and rap, will deliberate on the current state of the industry, work/life balance, and their personal inspirations in the revealing new documentary ALL WE ARE SAYING, premiering on SHOWTIME on Wednesday, March 8 at 8 p.m. PT/ET.

The film is actor/director Rosanna Arquette's follow-up to her widely praised directorial debut, SEARCHING FOR DEBRA WINGER, which premiered on SHOWTIME in 2003 and featured Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek, Sharon Stone and others, discussing ageism in the mostly male-dominated entertainment industry.

In ALL WE ARE SAYING, which premiered to acclaim at last year's Tribeca Film Festival, Rosanna Arquette uses her accessible, reverential interview style to provoke brilliant insight from an eclectic mix of artists. Revealing moments include:

     * David Crosby on how A&R reps at the present handful of media

 conglomerates " ... wouldn''t know a [good] song if it flew up their nose(s) and died."

     * Steven Tyler discussing how internet downloading has greatly     diminished the Aerosmith catalog value.

     * Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders on wearing a nursing bra while rocking out onstage.

     * Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M, on why hip-hop has trounced rock ''n'' roll, and how hip-hop and rap artists Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are today's Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

     * Joni Mitchell reveals why she feels one of her biggest hits as a

songwriter, "Both Sides Now" (made famous by Judy Collins), is a

 failure and how contracting polio compelled her to become an artist.

"I love music and wanted to sit down with some of the people I admire and discuss what keeps them going -- the balance between art and life, the state of the art of music today and what inspires them," said Arquette. "Most true artists care about music as a pure, passionate art form, but can get caught in the trap of the business which, sadly, has now become more important than the artist or even the music itself."
