Hall Of Justus, in just a few short years, has left a permanent mark on the hip hop community. From Little Brother’s rise from hip-hop underground saviors to a major label deal status with Atlantic Records, to developing their next generation of hip-hop and rap superstars, including Joe Scudda, The Away Team, L.E.G.A.C.Y and Chaundon among others. Since officially coming together as a hip-hop trio back in 2001, Little Brother has been hailed as among hip-hop's most provocative and ingenious groups. They struck an instant chord within the rap community, garnering praise from the likes of Pete Rock and the Roots, as well as catching the ears of hip-hop / rap superstar Jay-Z, who recruited 9th Wonder to craft tracks for both himself and Destiny's Child. In addition to crafting all of the beats for Little Brother, 9th Wonder has gone on to become one of hip hop’s most sought after producers, working with a wide-array of artists such as; Mary J. Blige, Memphis Bleek, Jean Grae, Masta Ace, Murs, Buckshot, Masta Ace, Royce 5’9, Ras Kass, Consequence, Sean Price and his Justus League cohorts among others. Likewise, Big Pooh (Sleepers) and Phonte (Foreign Exchange) have also gone on to release very successful side projects. Indoctrinated into the Justus League Camp in 2001, L.E.G.A.C.Y. has already showed and proved on a number of Justus League projects, including his 2005 debut Project Mayhem. Likewise, The Away Team, Sean Boog & rapidly ascending producer Khrysis (who also contributes the bulk of the production to Soldiers Of Fortune) joined L.E.G.A.C.Y. by releasing there debut, National Anthem, as well in 2005. No stranger to the Little Brother camp, Joe Scudda was featured on Little Brother’s first major label single “Lovin’ It” from their critically acclaimed LP The Minstrel Show. With such an abundance of talent, it’s only natural that the Hall Of Justus camp would hunker down in the trenches to unite all of their talents for their first collaborative effort, Soldiers Of Fortune, which will be released on 10-03-06. Soldiers Of Fortune features three new from Rapper Big Pooh, including the solo-cut “Back And Forth” and two new Little Brother tracks, “Back At It” featuring Cormega, which was produced by Buckwild and “Life Of The Party” which was produced by Nottz.. In addition to 9th Wonder, Soldiers Of Fortune also includes production from a list of high-profile beatmakers; Khrysis, Buckwild, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Nottz and G-Unit producers Black Jeruz & Fatin. Soldiers Of Fortune also features the next super-emcees from the Hall Of Justus camp, including Chaundon (who has graced every Hall Of Justus project), Skyzoo, Vandalism and Jozee Mo (who collaborates with Boot Camp Clik’s Sean Price on “All I Know”) and representing Houston, TX, Rap-A-Lot Record’s most recent signee Trae. Join Hall Of Justus and ABB Records in making Tuesday October 3rd, “Hall Of Justus Tuesday”. Tracklisting and Credits for Hall Of Justus’ Soldiers Of Fortune: 1.) Intro (Produced by Big Dho) 2.)
