THE BIG ONE IS COMING! Major movements and underground heat rising to the surface in the Southern California area have been reported by the Earthquake Institute. On November 9, 2004 “Super B-Boy Pimpin’,” a large-scale earthquake will take place. The technology, old school beats and collaboration of the Hip-Hop duo Spit-Ball and Simon Sez has been linked as the major cause for the big quake.
On November 9th, the duo will take listeners on a distorted musical adventure of new technology and old school production collided --creating a brand new, funky, freaky, futuristic Hip-Hop sound. Dirty drum breaks, dusty samples, 808 bass and turntable cuts provide the sonic backdrop for Earthquake Institute's ground shaking, body rocking, Hip-Hop party anthems.
Following the success of their debut single “Super B-Boy Pimpin’,” which is ranked at number 5 on Billboard’s Hip Hop/R&B Chart, and number 1 on the National College Radio, the brand new single “SWERVE!” is sure to shake up the entire planet. Entering Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B charts at number 10, “SWERVE!” can be heard on KPWR 105.9 Los Angeles, Pocos Pero Locos Latin Hip-Hop FM, mix shows and college radio stations across the nation.
Earthquake Institute duo wrote and recorded all their materials and is eager to let out their story with lyrics and sounds that race through the microphone and blast onto the stage to influence the world of music. Earthquake Institute touch topics revolving around a fantasy world of twisted sexual escapades, chemically induced hallucinations, battle raps, beats and mayhem. Watch out! The BIG ONE is here! |
