There has been much hype about the upcoming album from the Dallas hip-hop rap duo Play-N-Skillz. Well it’s time to see if it was hype or if these rappers from Texas can really lay it down.

I think that the brothers from Dallas have went past the hype. This album is great. It has something for everyone. Ladies to the ‘gangstas’.

These rap artist brothers, Juan "Play" Salinas and Oscar "Skillz" Salinas, have delivered a product that really surprised me.

I had heard the track Latinos Stand Up and loved it, but also thought they were putting the best track out there for the hype. Was I wrong? Yes.

The album has some great tracks that are sure to get much attention and much air play. Although I still like Latinos Stand Up as the best track on the album.

Lyrically these hip-hop brothers are tight, delivering tight flows and on a few tracks delivering them alongside some of hip-hop’s best rappers; and Play-N-Skillz hold their own.

Tracks like Freaks ft one of hip-hop’s legendary Bone Thugs, Krayzie Bone and Adina Howard; and Represent ft another legendary Bone Thug, Layzie Bone are stand outs.

But not only those two tracks, there are tracks like Come Home With Me (Ohh! Baby) ft Akon, Call Me feat. Chamillionaire, and Now ft Lil'' Flip are impressive and well delivered.

Latinos Stand Up ft Big Gemini and Rob G is my personal favorite on the album. The delivery, the production and the message, I can feel this song and it is good to see everyone representing.

On a scale of 1 – 10 – Play-N-Skillz - ''The Process''  receives an 8.5.

This album has something for everyone and is well done. We have an album stream for you to listen to the album before you go buy it; now that’s confidence in your product.

Listen to the stream and you will agree that this album is worth buying. Check it out and grab it. Play-N-Skillz ‘The Process’ will be in stores October 18th.
