Xzibit There are ''rumors'' being posted on some web sites about super west coast rap artist and host of the hip hop favorite ‘Pimp My Ride’ on MTV. The ''rumors'' say Xzibit may be leaving Sony Music. The ''rumor'' has it that “After mediocre sales of his latest album, ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’, it appears as though Xzibit and Sony Music will be parting ways in the very near future”. We contacted our Sony representative and forwarded the post of the ''rumor'' asking for clarification; as not to ‘feed’ internet ''rumors''. Sony’s rep had this to say about the ‘rumors’: “This is the first I''m hearing about X leaving Sony. There have been no talks that I know of. Definitely not a credible rumor.” So according to Sony all is still well with Xzibit and these ''rumors'' are just that – ''rumors''. We will be watching to see if any thing occurs with this situation, but for now thanks to Sony for always being there to ‘clear up’ our questions.
