It happened to Little Richard, Youngbloodz, Courtney Love, TLC, Q-Tip, Snoop Dogg, Styles P, Company Flow, Ras Kass, Toni Braxton, the Last Emperor, KRS-ONE & many more from hip hop to rap to soul to pop. Stolen royalties, unfair promotion, lack of healthcare, infringement on creativity, and outright piracy by the big 5 (Universal, BMG, Song, EMI, & Warner), owners of 90% of all music sold in retail.

The International Artists Union (I.A.U) of G.A.ME is calling all artists/musicians and music listeners and lovers to support the Artist Freedom Act. For a long time, the cure for the music industry has been to create one's own label, boycott, turn off the radio, or learn the business. All the business skills in the world can''t correct a business built on exploitation to make a dollar.

Hip-Hop has been on the frontline lyrically and politically about artist mistreatment. Clearly, it's not dead! To sign-on or endorse the legislation of Artist Freedom Act email Terry Nakamura: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
