Well known Long Beach native, hip-hop / rap artist Snoop Dogg will lead off a rally this Saturday, November 18th, outside the walls of San Quentin Prison in California for Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams. Rallies are planned throughout the state in support of clemency for death row inmate Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams.

The rapper joins the overwhelming number of supporters against the execution of stan ''Tookie'' Williams. From hip-hop and rap artists to movie stars and politicians, this case is getting much attention.

Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams,, who is now 51 years old, is sentenced for execution December 13th. A clemency petition was filed last week with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear Mr. Williams appeal.

‘Tookie’ Williams is a Nobel Peace Prize nominee. His memoir, ‘Blue Rage, Black Redemption’ is a great informative read. The DVD ‘Redemption’ staring Jamie Foxx, and Lynn Whitfield has earned worldwide critical acclaim. He is a co- founder of the Crips.

Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx has officially also endorsed a Stan ''Tookie'' Williams clemency campaign spearheaded by over 150,000 youth who claim the Nobel Peace Prize Nominee (set to be executed on Foxx's 38th birthday next month) has saved their lives with his nine anti-drug books and personal anti-gang mentoring over the past decade.

"We can''t let [the execution] happen," Foxx told Fox News at the October 30th New York premiere of his latest ''Jarhead'' film. "We''ve got to do everything we can to get the word out."

This past August the President's Call to Service Award — accompanied by a laudatory letter from President Bush — was issued to Stanley "Tookie" Williams, for his series of books warning young people against the gang life.

Showing signs that he is ‘rehabilitated’ and making a difference among young people, not only in the hip-hop community but with all young people, to execute Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams would send a mixed message to all youth.

If you would like to support clemency for Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams or would like to get more information on him or his case – PLEASE visit http://www.tookie.com and let your voice be heard.

Time is short and everyone needs to show support for Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams before it is too late.

No California governor has granted clemency in a California case since the death penalty was reinstated there in 1978. Let pray that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger can see the accomplishments of Stan ‘Tookie’ Williams and grant the Nobel Peace Prize nominee clemency.
