Afeni Shakur-Davis presents the follow up workshop Saturday, June 28, 2008, for the 2008 Mentoring Conference for young women that was held March 15, 2008. The theme of this year’s conference was "Finding our Wings". Mentors included Afeni Shakur-Davis, mother of the late hip hop icon Tupac Shakur (2Pac), Bishop Iona Locke, Ms. Xernona Clayton, Cheryl "Salt" James, and former State Senator Steen Miles.

You are invited to join us again as we recap, reconnect and create a plan of action to implement our commitments and solutions to Healing our Spirits, Domestic Violence, Forgiveness, Self Esteem, Teen Pregnancy, Physical and Mental Health.

The workshop this will be an interactive. Women, young and old, will come up with solutions along with a plan of action on how we can change and impact ourselves and communities.
