In 2002, after having working for various other web sites, ThugLifeArmy.com was conceived by its owner RB and a few other people. With hip hop icon rap artist Tupac Shakur (2Pac) as the main focus of the site, it was quickly evident that news on the hip hop icon could not keep the site in the main eyes of hip hop culture.

As the ‘man’ Tupac Shakur (2Pac) was and is deeper than just a hip hop icon or one of the greatest rap artists ever to touch a mic, the direction of the site shifted to areas that were important to Tupac.

Although Tupac (2Pac) is still the main focus of the site, ThugLifeArmy.com has grown into a ‘true source for news for hip hop culture’.

Developing many great relationships along the way has made it possible for the web site to grow into much more than was first envisioned by those who first conceived it.

Thru relationships with other web sites and learning how to network, the web site has grown into a small community within itself.

The site, along with creditable hip hop and rap news, covers Urban Culture News also: those are topics that are important to the hip hop community at large.

ThugLifeArmy.com now has their own internet radio station at www.TLARadio.com, which is powered and hosted by Frank Miranda and the CRN Network ( http://www.crnlive.com ). Frank Miranda has been a driving force and a mentor to the owner of ThugLifeArmy.com lending support and his years of knowledge in all areas.

ThugLifeArmy.com has a sister site at www.TLA-PROnline.com which is dedicated to helping unsigned hip hop, rap and spoken word artists.

And now ThugLifeArmy.com has just announced the formation of their own record label – Thug Life Army Records; with its first release by West Side Connection affiliate and AllFrumTha I member Binky Mack providing his first solo EP for the kick off of the label.
