"The Extensive Hip Hop Rhyming Dictionary" has just been released. Published by On-lineRecords.com, this new dictionary aims at developing the rhyming talent of Hip Hop and Rap Music writers.

With over 1,200 rhyme associations, the dictionary offers an introduction to Hip Hop, rhyming definitions and examples of the multitude of rhymes and rhyme patterns, as well as an entirely separate homonym dictionary. Most importantly, however are the alliterative, multiple-syllable rhymes developed from a variety of common phrases.

According to author Rico Picenoni, "the concern is that current dictionaries… focus on end rhymes, or terminal rhymes and… fail to develop strong, polysyllabic rhymes." Artists like Eminem have written lyrics that rhyme five, six, sometimes even seven syllables and this adds a considerable impact on listeners adds Picenoni. On a final note, Picenoni said "I just love writing and teaching others. I hope they will find the dictionary helpful."
