Afeni Shakur, in the name of her late son hip-hop culture icon and rap legend Tupac Shakur; thru the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation has done and are doing a lot of great things to carry on her sons legacy. The latest comes in this post from from the official Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation web site. “Our hearts ache for the families displaced by the Katrina catastrophe. Like so many others, our loved ones are personally affected by this tragedy. Here are some ways you can join us in helping our fellow brothers and sisters”. SPONSOR A HOTEL ROOM Thousands of evacuees in Georgia are running out of funds, trying to pay for their rooms at hotels in the Metro Atlanta area. Here's how you can help. Join the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation in sponsoring rooms for the families. The cost is $40 a night and you can sponsor 1 night, 1 Week, or 30 Days + Call the Magnolia Manor at 770-938-1026, let them know the Tupac Shakur Foundation referred you and that you want to sponsor rooms for Katrina victims.
