After much work by many and great anticipation by his fans ''It's Official''.

Phase 1 of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts (which includes the Visitor Center & Peace Garden) in Stone Mountain Georgia will have its Grand Opening on Saturday June 11, 2005, at 12PM.

This is the first step in an on-going building project headed by the late great rap artist, hip-hop icon and social activist Tupac Shakurs mother Afeni Shakur.

This is great news for everyone involved in this project to preserve Tupac Shakurs Legacy.

Do you want to help build the Center for the Arts? Here's how:

Purchase personalized bricks or plaques to be imbedded at the Memorial Fountain surrounding the Tupac statue & in the Center Grand Lobby.

The Tupac Amaru Center for the Arts is looking for volunteers. They are looking for volunteers to fill the following positions:

1. Street Team

2. Street Team Manager

3. Special Events Team

Volunteers are needed for carpentry teams to help build benches & small fences recycled from tree branches.

Make a financial contribution to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts Fund.
