Afeni Shakur, the mother of late hip-hop rap icon Tupac Shakur, has said the last album of his unreleased material will come out next year.

There is another Tupac (2Pac) album due between now and then. A Spoken Word Tupac album is coming on Koch records.

Although the release date has not been set it is confirmed by Koch that “Tupac Spoken Work doesn’t have a release date but is coming through Koch”.

Afeni is also working on a untitled film detailing Tupac’s early life, as well as a traveling Broadway play. Author Quentin Skinner has also written a biography of the late rap icon, which will be published later this year.

Other Koch news is the Death Row Records album ‘Against The Grain’ from Kurupt. Again it has a tentative release date of 8/23. There has been many release dates that have come and gone for this album. Hopefully this date is the last and the album will drop in August. We will have cover art and track list as soon as we can.
