Rap Artist Murphy Lee Returns to Hip Hop Print

Hip Hop artist and member of hip hop rap click St. Lunatics Murphy Lee, a.k.a. Murph-Derrt & Da Skool Boy, (born Torhi Murphy Lee Harper), is debuting the new video for "Murph Derrty," the first single from his upcoming album You See Me.

The video gives a window into a day in the life with scenes of the hip hop artist Murphy Lee working in the studio, rolling in his nice rides, sportin'' LSU gear, and living a life of luxury.

As a teenager, Murphy Lee joined up with his friends, including St. Louis hip hop rap superstar Nelly, to create the hip hop rap click the St. Lunatics. After appearing on Nelly's first release, Country Grammar, in 2000, Murphy Lee then went onto release his solo album Murphy's Law in 2003. He has worked with hip hop notables Jermaine Dupri, Lil Wayne and many others and won a Grammy for the song "Shake Ya Tailfeather" featuring Nelly. His album You See Me will be released in summer ''08.

Best known for "Shake Ya Tailfeather" and "Wat Da Hook Gon Be," Murphy Lee returns to the Hip Hop scene with another derrty track. Murphy Lee announces that he is a "certified rapper" who is ready to bring the spotlight back to the St. Louis hip hop and rap scene as he holds it down in the style we have come to expect from Nelly and the St. Lunatics crew.
