Rapper Ja Rule gets a lift from a host of hip-hop heavy hitters on his sixth album, "R.U.L.E." Due Nov. 9 via the Inc./Def Jam, the 19-track set is led by the single "Wonderful" featuring R. Kelly and Ashanti. The cut jumps 25-49 in its third week on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.

Ja Rule will also be seen in the upcoming film "Assault on Precinct 13," which stars Ethan Hawke, Lawrence Fishburne and Maria Bello. The movie arrives Jan. 21 in U.S. theaters.

Rule is also accused of being part of a June 5 altercation at La Rouge Nightclub in the heart of Toronto's club district. A publication ban was placed on evidence and most other details surrounding the charge

His court date was tentatively set for March 7 to 11 in Ontario Court.

Ja Rule’s lawyers will return to court next Tuesday to cement the date after co-counsel Marie Henein asked for time to contact her client to ensure he''d be able to attend the duration of the Toronto trial.

His lawyers have said the rapper will plead not guilty to the charge.
