Justin's Restaurant, owned by hip hop entrepreneur Puffy Combs, at 31 West 21st Street in NYC, is the latest scene of hip hop related drama and violence.

Hip hop artist Fabolous, aka 28 year old John Jackson, was shot following a fight that ended down the street from Justin’s early this morning.

The hip hop artist was shot in the thigh at Fifth Ave. and 21st. Street about 12:30 AM.

Three of the rappers posse pulled the hip hop artist into a car and they left the scene to take the rap artist to the hospital.

A block later NY Police officers pulled their vehicle over for speeding and running red lights. NYPD has said two loaded weapons, a 9mm and a .40 caliber handgun, were found in the vehicle carrying the hip hop artist. Police say both of the weapons are apparently unlicensed.

Bellevue Hospital is where Fabolous was taken for treatment for the gunshot wound. The three other men in the vehicle, ages 18,23 and 29 were placed under arrest. Their names were not released at press time.  Charges against the hip hop artist and his three posse members are pending.

NY police are still investigating the shooting.
